Woakes & Curran accuse Shastri
Indian team's head coach Ravi Shastri is known for his love for expensive liquor, and apparently, it is strengthening his bond with the skipper Virat Kohli. A picture of Kohli handing the bottle of champagne he won as the man of the match for number 3to Shastri went viral on the internet and proved the duo's working chemistry.
In the picture, the coach looked more than happy with the sweet gesture of Kohli.
However, we were shocked to see that the man of the match award winners of last two tests Curran and Woakes reported their champagne missing.
"Out here, It's good to see people with an acquired taste, but I wouldn't like to connect the dots or point out anybody as the reason behind my missing champagne," said Woakes. Not sure if he was accusing Shastri of anything, but even Curran seemed to sing the same tune. "It was my first test, and the maiden man of the match award and I'm not very pleased with the way my precious bottle of champagne went missing. I've no issues with any of the visitors, but Shastri's love of fine liquor sometimes make me wonder. Now, I'm not in the playing eleven so don't know what to say," emotional Curran commented.
There are rumors that Shastri suggested his team to wrap up ASAP the match on day 5 to enjoy the happy hours in the nearby bar. Does Shastri have anything to do with the missing champagne bottles?
