We need fit politicians: Virat Kohli

The government of India have been connecting the consistently inflating petrol prices with health and fitness. Undoubtedly, growing awareness has led to an increase in the number of people hitting gyms and improving their eating habits. But it seems some people are not selfish enough to only think about themselves.

Fitness icon and star cricketer Virat Kohli seems to be quite bothered about the idea of promoting the fitness at the cost of love for driving. Needless to say, the sportsman is in good shape and loves his collection of Audi cars. So, Padma Shri winner decided to make the politicians a part of the government's vision for  fit India.

"I would like to ensure that PM Modi is not forgetting his own health while taking care of the nation of 1.3 billion. I challenge Modiji to do 20 spider planks" Kohli tweeted.

In addition to this, he raised the issue of Indian politicians not being concerned of their health. "The politicians are our representatives and when they travel locally and internationally, their pot bellies don't leave a very good impression on their supporters. So, I hope the escalating petrol prices bring something good at least for our politicians." Indian cricket team's captain added.
