Rahane follows Gambhir

Rajasthan Royals are sitting at the bottom of IPL league table. With 3 wins out of 9 matches, Rajasthan's way to play-offs is looking next to impossible. Inability to perform well has not been restricted to any specific department but flop show of the middle order is considered to be the major concern for the team.

Earlier when Gautam Gambhir stepped down from captaincy, Daredevils played the next three matches in quite an impressive fashion. Now, following his footsteps , Ajinkya Rahane has not only decided to bow out of the captaincy but also vacate his place in the team as a player.

With an interview with us, Rahane showed his disppointment by saying, "I don't think Twenty20 is really my format. Scoring runs at a strike rate close to 100 is just not good enough."

In addition to this, the Indian test vice captain stated that "Rajasthan have great talent and if guided well the team can still make it to play offs."

Name of the Rahane's replacement has not been disclosed yet. Let's see with this how different things will be for Rajasthan Royals?
