Kohli not happy with the team's performance

The second ODI  between West Indies and India proved to be exceptional for quite a few players as well as both the teams. Fueled by Kohli's unbeaten 157 India set a target of 322 for the visitors. Even with the home advantage, the men in blue couldn't stop Windies from registering a tie in the fixture. Caribbean batsmen Hope and Hetmyer played the match-saving innings for the team, and the match ended without a result.
Besides a happy ending for Windies, Kohli reached the 10K run mark in ODI with his 37th ton. However, the skipper looked quite frustrated with how the team couldn't clinch the victory after putting 300+ runs on the board.
"I don't understand, where can I possibly improve to take this so-called strong side of ours to victory? Scoring centuries in every second match doesn't seem to be enough for the team," Kohli showed disappointment.
Surprisingly, he didn't even shy away from dragging the 'captain cool' MS Dhoni in his pool of criticism. " I want to remind Dhoni Bhai how people expect him to finish matches in style. It is an important series before the World Cup 2019, why not make it count? If he(Dhoni) is struggling to play Windies on flat Indian pitches, then I wonder what good would he bring in English & Welsh pitches?"
The angry skipper didn't stop there; he also pointed out MSD's contribution to the team in recent times. "Winning in cricket comes from the players' contribution. I admit Dhoni Bhai is an asset to the team when it comes to planning our on-field moves, however, in that case, the role of Indian team's coach would suit him better. Shastri sir complains about not getting enough time to drink anyway," he added.
