IPL 2019: 5 Players Sunrisers Hyderabad may look to in auction

The runner-ups of IPL 2018, played some excellent cricket to end at the top after group stages. Despite the absence of former captain David Warner, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s chances of reaching finals looked promising after every passing game. Except for a few losses, Hyderabad put up an altogether good show.

Williamson led SRH's successful campaign was backed by successful bowling. Having Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul in the top three wicket takers is the proof of being the best bowling side. They both took 21 wickets each. So, the bowling attack can be good enough to restrict the opponents from getting an unachievable target.

As far as performance with the bat is concerned, with 735 runs the leading run scorer of the edition was Hyderabad's skipper Kane Williamson. Unfortunately,  except for Dhawan who scored 497 runs with the help of 4 fifties, Williamson didn't get enough support from any other batsman. Clearly, weak middle order and a missing finisher are the primary weaknesses of the team.

Considering SRH's available salary cap of 9.7 crores, quite a few suitable options in the form of batsmen are available to them.
