"I deserve to win the trophy once" -ABD

Today RCB played their 14th and final match of the IPL 2018 against Rajasthan. Batting first, Rajasthan set a target that required RCB to score just over 8 runs per over. Considering RCB's strong batting line-up, the only fifty coming from Superman ABD didn't look fair at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

Hitting runs at a strike rate of about 175, the right-handed batsman maintained an average of 53.33 this season. Besides his brilliant performance with the bat, the South African ace was in talks for arguably the best catch taken by him against SRH. We couldn't stop ourselves from capturing his point of view after his team's IPL exit.

"Even though losing is a part of game but after playing 11th edition of the tournament, I really feel that i deserve to win the silverware." De Villiers stated. After being asked about the team's performance in IPL 2018, ABD shook his head and said " Unfortunately RCB's line up is just good on cards which is not just good enough to win in IPL."

The 34 year old looked skeptical when we discussed his future in IPL. "I want to win the trophy at least once and I'm not very impressed how the team have been repeating the same mistakes again and again." is what Mr. 360 Degrees had to say.
