Dada: India's a better bowling side than the hosts
After taking the consecutive T20 series win count to six by beating the hosts on the tour of England, India are gearing up for the 3-match-ODI series starting from July 12. India need to whitewash over England to claim the rank 1 in the ICC ODI ratings.
Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly is quite confident about an excellent performance by team India.
Considering English batting at par with India, Ganguly called English bowling comparatively weaker than their batting. “England are a good side; they are a very good batting unit. But bowling is the weaker part of their game. India will fancy their chances against this English team (after) the way they won on Sunday, chasing 200,” said Ganguly. Dada at the launch of his book 'A Century is Not Enough' added that “The Indian team has been doing well, enjoyed it (T20s). It is the start of a long series, first three ODIs, then five Tests, the team will do well.”
Besides this Ganguly supported Kohli's decision of coming at number 4. “Kohli has been batting at number 4 (in T20Is), he is doing the right thing. That’s what he is going to do (going ahead),” he stated.
