Bangladeshi women play better cricket than men: Akash Chopra

With an increase in the efforts of giving women an equal status to men in the society, we are witnessing a better level of participation by women not only in cricket but also in other sports. Apparently, this upliftment has not been restricted to only first world countries.

Recently, Bangladesh beat Indian women's team to lay their hands on their maiden Twenty20  Asia Cup.

On this occasion, former Indian mediocre batsman and commentator  Akash Chopra couldn't keep calm and commented on Bangladesh's achievement. Before congratulating the Bangladeshi's women team, Chopra found it important to point out the miserable cricket history of Bangladeshi men's team by saying, "God is kind, HE doesn't take away everything from anybody and this is why HE considered Bangladeshi women more deserving of a trophy than their men."

As we proceeded with the interview, Akash Chopra started laughing out loud and added, "It's good to see their women shining when their men's team is busy getting humiliated by the hands of inexperienced Afghanistan's team."
