Willey pulls out of IPL 2019

England all-rounder will not be playing any part in IPL 2019 as he has opted to stay at home for the birth of his second child. "Unfortunately, due to family reasons I've had to pull out of the IPL. Chennai were very understanding and supportive as Yorkshire have been as well.

"It's never an easy decision. Nonetheless it's the right decision for the family. We are due to have our second baby and my wife has had a bit of a tough time so I need to be in England,” he said.

Australia go 4-0 up

Australia pulled off a sensational last-over, six-run win despite centuries from debutant Abid Ali and Mohammad Rizwan in the fourth ODI against Pakistan in Dubai on Friday (March 29). Brief scores: Australia 277/7 in 50 overs (Glenn Maxwell 98, Usman Khawaja 62; Mohammad Hasnain 2-52, Yasir Shah 2-57) beat Pakistan 271/8 in 50 overs (Abid Ali 112, Mohammad Rizwan 104; Nathan Coulter-Nile 3-53) by six runs.

Stokes signs contract extension with Durham

England all-rounder Ben Stokes has signed a three-year contract extension at Durham to keep him with the county until 2021. "I love playing for Durham and am delighted to be signing a new long-term deal at the County where I learnt my trade," Stokes said. "I'm very passionate about helping Durham compete at the top level and if I am given any opportunities to play this season, I will give everything to the club."

Delhi Capitals’ Morris praises Russell

"Dre Russ (Andre Russell) is an absolute genius at hitting the cricket ball, it's as simple as that," Chris Morris said. "End of the day, I think it has to be a case of he misses and I hit. I don't want to give away too many tactics or anything. Like I said, Russ is an unbelievably good batter and he's dangerous.”
