Skipper Aaron Finch hit 90 while Adam Zampa and Pat Cummins took four and three wickets respectively as Australia crushed Pakistan by 80 runs to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match ODI series in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (March 27). Brief scores: Australia 266/6 in 50 overs (Aaron Finch 90, Glenn Maxwell 71; Imad Wasim 1/34, Usman Shinwari 1/37) beat Pakistan 186 in 44.4 overs (Imam-ul-Haq 46; Pat Cummins 3/24, Adam Zampa 4/43) by 80 runs.

Ashwin's 'pause too long', not within spirit of cricket - MCC

A day after ruling that the controversial run-out of Jos Buttler in the IPL was clean, the MCC has clarified that Kings XI Punjab skipper R Ashwin seemingly "paused too long" and that was "not within the spirit of cricket."

We will have a look at Archer against Pakistan - Morgan

England captain Eoin Morgan has confirmed that Jofra Archer's audition for the World Cup will be during the ODI series against Pakistan, which begins from May 8.

"The hype about Jofra playing around the world and doing well and attracting a lot of attention is justified as he has put in performances that warrant looking at," said Morgan. "Trevor Bayliss said after the West Indies series we will look at him against Pakistan and that's what we will do. We don't have to name our (World Cup) squad until the end of the Pakistan series so we'll have a look and see how he goes.”

Simmons happy with CWI's apology, settlement over sacking

Phil Simmons has accepted an apology and a financial settlement from Cricket West Indies over his unceremonious exit as coach of West Indies in 2016.

Simmons was first appointed coach of West Indies post the 2015 World Cup, but was suspended for a period and then sacked despite leading West Indies to the 2016 World T20 title in India.
